The idea
Active matches are limited to ten at a time. Every connection has your attention, because none of them are filler in an endless deck.
Each match expires in fourteen days. A match isn't something to collect and forget. It's something to act on while it's live.
The moment two people connect, String suggests a venue near you both and a few times that work. The two of you agree on one.
The model
Venue partnerships generate our revenue, not subscriptions. Venues pay to be featured in recommendations. There's no subscription.
Safety
Meeting someone new should feel good, not risky. String includes safety tools most dating apps treat as an afterthought.
Set a deadline before your date. If you don't confirm you're safe, we text the emergency contact you chose.
Your emergency contact gets a link to where you are, for as long as you choose to share it.
Every account is phone-verified before it can match with anyone.
Reporting and blocking are built in. Repeated reports freeze an account for review.
